don’t think I can undo anything, I was thinking of stopping this slippery slope of ever increasing tax burden by either no increase or better yet an across the board cut. Say ---6%. It is always assumed that the town will just make up any short fall with an automatic increase of taxes. What were to happen if the people put a stop to that constant spiral up and said no more. Through no fault of anybody in Hamilton the economy takes a down turn and the town officials just think they should maintain the status quo and cover the extra shortfall burden. How about cutting down the government? I know that that would make you life miserable, certainly not my intent. I would certainly not know how to make cuts other than simple across the board each dept take a fixed hit.

Crazy eh! Just a thought which I like more and more, if we the people have to share the burden than the town and school must share the burden also.
